Murphy Meets Wife on Fusion101!!!
Fusion101 is a
Christian singles and dating service that works. It sounds
amazing but it's true... World Champion Snooker Player
met his wife on Fusion101 just a few months back!!!! Sean
was came across Fusion and began chatting to various people
in our chat room and eventually hooked up with Clair (see
below). Friendship turned into romance and the rest -
you can see below. Fusion works!!! I never put the picks
up before up here as I didn't have time with one thing
and another. However I kept the press cuttings...
We like to think that his
then to be wife, gave him the extra push he needed to
go from nowhere to the top in just a few months - and
then go on to win the Championship with an ice-cool display
of snooker mastery! Here's the snaps - congrats Shaun!
We're
getting more and more letters so say "take me off
I've met someone" so please tell as many people as
possible about 101 - this will really help us:-)
Also please, please help promote us - we'll send you posters
to stick up in church /flyers etc.
Why
we built 101 . .
I came up with the idea of building a Christian friendship
website in 1999 after experiencing the frustration first
hand of not meeting hardly any new friends in my Church
circle.
At
the time I was a Graphic Designer for a small firm in
the country and went to a small local church. I wondered
how anyone in my situation could ever meet anyone - and
after a while became quite dispondant about the whole
situation. I didn't really want to move to the city just
to meet someone - - crazy!! It also occurred to me that
there must be loads of others in the same situation and
although 'church hopping' was a possible answer - it takes
months before you start to get to know people - just not
practical and detracts from the reason we go to church
in the first place!

new team!
Anyway we made the site and Fusion101 is
now run by 2 of us which includes me (I'll get some pics
up soon so you can see we really exist!) It is our passion
to see Christians get together near and far - and give
people the opportunity to meet that would otherwise not.
We want to be a personal service, not faceless secular
marketeers - we care about all our members so if you've
got a gripe, be blunt and tell us!
This
year . .
The site's now in shape - and a lot of hard work has gone
into building something that can be improved over time.
We made the site free to use for now - there will be a
charge at some point but only when we feel the service
offers the best value for money - but not for current
users - so TELL EVERYONE IT'S FREE FOREVER IF YOU JOIN
